Wells Fargo CD Rates Review

Here at Wells Fargo Interest Rates Reviews, we try to keep you as up to date as possible on all the latest at Wells Fargo.  Today, it’s time once again to look at Wells Fargo Bank CD rates to see what the latest offers are.

There are still four Wells Fargo certificate of deposit rates specials as well as the standard Wells Fargo CD rates.  The specials have a specific term followed by an auto-renewal for another term (shown in parenthesis) at standard rates.  We’ll start with those, which have a minimum deposit requirement of $5,000 to open and maintain.

For a 9 month term (renewing for 6 months), Wells Fargo interest rates are 0.40% annual percentage yield (APY).  For a 19 month term (renewing for 12 months), Wells Fargo Bank CD rates are 0.90% APY.  For a 25 month term (renewing for 24 months0, rates are 1.40% APY and for a 31 month term (renewing for 24 months), Wells Fargo CD rates are 1.90% APY.

The standard Wells Fargo certificate of deposit rates are in three terms with tiers of return depending on deposit amount.  The minimum deposit is $2,500 to open and maintain.

For a 3 month term with deposits up to $99,999, the Wells Fargo interest rates are 0.15% APY.  For a deposit of $100,000 or higher, rates are 0.20% APY.

For a six month term, deposits up to $9,999 are give 0.15% APY while deposits of $10,000 to $99,999 are given 0.25% APY.  Deposits over $100,000 receive Wells Fargo Bank CD rates of 0.30% APY.

Finally, on a one year term, deposits up to $9,999 receive Wells Fargo CD rates of 0.25% APY.  Deposits of $10,000 to $99,999 get a 0.35% APY rate and deposits over $100,000 have Wells Fargo interest rates of 0.40% APY.
