Wells Fargo Certificate of Deposit Rates

We looked at Wells Fargo certificate of deposit rates about a month ago here at Wells Fargo Interest Rates Reviews.  It’s time to do that again.  This time around, you’ll see that the rates for some of the specials have dropped a little.

Specials are still on 7, 13, 25, and 39 month term Wells Fargo Bank certificate of deposit rates.  Minimum deposits for these specials are $5,000.  Here are the Wells Fargo CD rates for these specials, listed by term and giving the annual percentage yield (APY).

  • 7 months – 1.01% APY
  • 13 months – 1.49% APY
  • 25 months – 1.99% APY
  • 39 months – 2.87% APY

Standard Wells Fargo interest rates on CDs can be had on 3, 6, and 12 month terms.  The three month term pays 0.10% APY with a $2,500 minimum deposit.  The 6 month Wells Fargo CD rates are the same unless your deposit is over $100,000, which boosts the APY to 0.40%.

The one year term has three tiers of rates, depending on deposit.  For a $2,500 minimum, the rate is 0.40% APY.  For a $10,000 deposit, the rate is 0.60% APY and for a $100,000 deposit, the rate is 0.90% APY.
